- Lithuania among the top countries according to political and economic transformation
Lithuania was ranked 7th among 128 countries in the Bertelsmann transformation index 2010. Compared to the previous ranking published two years ago, Lithuania fell one place this year.
Estonia was placed 4th, and Latvia was 13th. The top 13 countries in the list have been categorized as being highly advanced.
The top countries in terms of political and economic transformation are the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Taiwan.
