Live in Lithuania (EU Citizens)
Any EU citizen is entitled to stay in Lithuania for up to three months over a period of half a year. This period is calculated from the first day of arrival.
If a EU citizen comes to live permanently in Lithuania, together with a citizen of our country as a member of his family, he must get a certificate confirming the permission to reside in Lithuania. Validity of such a document, which is issued by the Migration Service, is open-ended.
An application requesting for the above certificate is issued within one month from the date of the application. A foreigner concerned is notified about the decision in writing, the certificate being enclosed.
